Care without Carrying - Part 2: Learning to Receive, Discern and Relate with Men as they are

You do not need to have attended the first Care Without Carrying to participate in this workshop. While it builds naturally on many of the same themes, we'll begin with a shared foundation so that both returning and new participants can fully engage.

What happens after we recognize we've been carrying more than our share in relationships with men?

Insight is powerful, but lasting change comes from learning to embody new ways of relating. Many women can identify the patterns of over-functioning, emotional labor, and investing in men's potential. The more difficult—and ultimately more transformative—work is learning to stay connected without slipping back into those familiar roles.

In this experiential workshop, we'll explore what it means to care deeply while remaining rooted in yourself. Together we'll practice meeting men as they actually are rather than who they could become, discerning between capacity and potential, expressing our needs with greater honesty, receiving care without guilt, and allowing others to carry the responsibility that belongs to them. We'll also explore how to navigate disappointment, incompatibility, and uncertainty without abandoning ourselves or taking over.

Through guided exercises, embodied practices, and meaningful dialogue, you'll strengthen your ability to trust your perceptions, respond rather than rescue, and create relationships grounded in mutual responsibility, authenticity, and respect.

Whether this is your first introduction to these ideas or you're ready to deepen the work, you'll leave with practical tools and embodied experiences that support a freer, more reciprocal way of relating with the men in your life.
